Iwo Jima Sand in a Globe and Anchor Vile

This Battle of Iwo Jima Living History Memento is another special collection piece created by myself to give everyone a chance to touch and feel the volcanic sand of Iwo Jima. This is the same sand that was cursed by the Marines as they struggled to get across the beach during this epic battle. The sand is housed in clear glass vial with a sponge cork stopper afixed with the Marine Corps Eagle Globe & Anchor.
